Green Bay-based death metal band, Errors of Humanity, is set to release their latest single, "Honor Killing," on May 9th, 2023. The track is accompanied by a gripping music video, shot and produced by Austin Scherzberg, featuring model emonyx. The video will premiere on Slam World Wide, giving audiences a sneak peek into what the band has in store for their fans.
With a mix of traditional death metal and new aged slamming deathcore, Errors of Humanity brings a unique sound that has been praised for its raw energy and brutal honesty. "Honor Killing" is a reflection of the band's deep passion for creating music that highlights the atrocities of humanity, drawing inspiration from death metal legends such as Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, and Nile, as well as newer bands like Brand of Sacrifice, Ingested, and Signs of the Swarm.
The single's lyrics showcase the band's unyielding dedication to confronting the darker aspects of society. The lyrics speak to the victims of honor killings, who are condemned to death to ensure no moral defect and prevent the stain of dishonor. The track calls for an end to the culture that allows for such atrocities to occur and challenges the norm in a powerful way.
Errors of Humanity's upcoming release is produced by Stacey Smyre of Red Nose Audio, with vocal production by Tyler Wegner. The song is written by Kieran Thomas, Dane Slinger, and James Hunte, and performed by Kieran Thomas on vocals, Tyler Wegner on guitar, and Dane Slinger on drums.
The band's first LP took close to two years to write and perfect, ensuring that every second of the album is precisely how they envisioned it from the start. The album is a reflection of the band's deep passion for creating music that highlights the atrocities of humanity. "We focused on all of the harrowing acts of humankind that happen throughout all of our history; from the Salem witch trials and human sacrificial rituals of the innocent in ancient cultures to hypocritical and power-hungry politicians and disingenuous religions. We put a lot of ourselves into writing this record in hopes someone will relate in some way," says the band.
Errors of Humanity continues to push boundaries and bring attention to important issues with their upcoming release. The band is available for interviews and other forms of coverage, and reactions and reviews are welcome.
Don't miss the premiere of "Honor Killing" on Slam World Wide on May 9th, 2023, and be sure to check out the band's first LP for a deeper dive into their unyielding dedication to brutal honesty.
